Just a little tidbit on what we have been up to lately.



Aaron is working at a fairly new restaraunt called Mason's Haunt. He is the breakfast and lunch dude. Quite a change for him, waking up at 5 a.m., going to bed at 10 p.m.. In spite of that,he is very happy there. They all seem to like him alot, and really admire his work ethic and the way he treats people. The owner used to have a place that was primarily a bakery, so Aaron is learning some stuff about baking. Which after a batch of banana bread, I learned he hasn't learned enough.



I finally found a job that I am very happy with. Sometimes it takes a couple of trys before you find exactly what your'e looking for. I am working for a wine distributor in town. We mostly sell Gallo products, from Modesto California. Yeah California!!! It reminds me alot of my navy experience, without all the b.s. rules and games. I work with mainly guys, so I don't have to worry about the petty back-biting that goes on in a female enviornment. I can be my serious self(ha-ha).



We are in the process of finishing painting the inside of our house and putting in new kitchen countertops. We have been blessed with great neighbors who know about plumbing and installing whatever. Actually our next door neighbor, Danny, installs floors and re-does kitchens and bathrooms for a living. It was pretty funny, the day we moved in, I mean the minute we drove in the drive-way, he was over at our house making sure no riff-raff was moving in next door to them. Now, hardly a weekend goes by that we are not over at his house or our other neighbors, swimming in thier pool.



We have a 3 bedroom house, with 2 extra rooms for guests and we also have a pull out sofa. So there should be no reason why you can't come visit us, soon.
